A love for pets and a passion for home decorating led me to the invention of Pet Door Decor.   My product was created from the frame design I made for a pet door that was installed in our home for our pets.  The pet door was very visible when entering the room and lacked home decor continuity.   I decided that although pet doors are a great innovation and necessary for many pet owners, they lacked appeal and style.  It was at that moment, I decided to give our pet door…a pet door makeover!

     

      I combined the convenience of a pet door, along with a design of a functional and decorative frame.  The unified idea resulted in a product that adds convenience, style and personalization for the pet door owner, their pet and their home.  I realized that my product can give all pet door owners the opportunity to have their pet door blend in with their home’s environment, without loosing the convenience and freedom of their pet going indoors or outdoors, or the loss of functionality of the flap and security system.

     

      I am proud to present my two new product lines to the public - Pet Door Decor designer pet door panels and Pet Door Decor pet door accessories.  My products are available in a variety of colors, designs and sizes.

     

     The designer dog door frames are available in five different colors including white, almond, brown, dark green and black, and are sure to compliment any room in your home.  The frames are made out of a type of thermoplastic that is highly durable, resistant to chemicals, heat and moisture for a long lasting value. 

     

     Installation is easy and it only takes two paws to install.  The frame mounts to the sides of your pet door with two aluminum guides and can easily slide on or off.  The guides allow you to remove your frame anytime for cleaning, inserting your security panel or changing out the frame color or design theme.  And because of the custom guide system, the frame won’t mar your walls.

    

     We also offer decorative panel accessories for the pet door panels including easy-to-apply vinyl decals, interchangeable silk foliage designs and animal fur print patterns.    

     

     Our signature graphic decal collection was created by Denise D. Duval.  The decals are available in three different graphic motifs including, pet paws with alphabets, ivy and Southwest. They are created from a durable vinyl and are ready and easy to apply to the designer frame.  The decals are waterproof and removable, so you can remove or update them at any time and they’re washable too!  They are a great way to personalize and add style to a pet door in any room!

        

     In conclusion,  I feel pets are considered a “coveted family member” and their needs have become as much a part of the architecture of our homes and gardens as kitchen cabinets or ceiling fans.  Because of this, I believe pet owners are incorporating special pet spaces for their pets in their home, including one-of-a-kind designs and pet decor ensembles that go well beyond the familiar doggie door or fence.   I’m happy to know that my products can help pet owners achieve that special appearance they were looking for in their home.
